Superabundance Is Coming – But Only If Humanity Commits to Protecting the Planet

I’m not sure I’d phrase it as the precondition to getting it is giving it up. I think the precondition is a shift in our values and as you describe the Organizing system of society. We already could provide pretty reasonably close to abundance with today’s resources and outputs, we just don’t organize it that way. To get to super abundance we need to be both focusing on building up different forms of production and winding down worse forms. It’s not giving up on abundance of everything, but abundance of a toxic fossil fuel focused energy system
so what they're saying is that superabundance is NOT coming lol
