They use the word "transparency" dozens of times, but never disclose in the article what products had high levels of contaminates.

    Nor could I find a list of such products on their website. Instead I found a (small) list of products that they approve of.

    Definitely makes me wonder if there's something not quite transparent about their "transparency"

This sort of thing was widely discussed a few years ago, probably around the time of CA prop 65. I remember influencers buying their own equipment and were going to test everything.

Have we achieved so little? Are we so preoccupied by the stars and planetoids, awareness of our world’s sorry state is lost to us?

Makes one wonder what else we miss.

I’m finding myself more and more nervous about any powdered foods, regardless of the ingredient list. It’s so easy for some sub-supplier to slip in something extra, just to boost their profits by 5-10%.

My cooking uses turmeric frequently, and I recently found you can buy dried turmeric and grind it to powder in a magic bullet. It has the added bonus of tasting better/fresher
