After being a software founder for the last 8 years, I spent the holidays diving into AI research papers, lectures and trends to try to catch up to frontier of public AI research.

Are there any other seminal papers or topics that you'd recommend or that I missed? Look at sites that track emerging technologies and at annual state of AI reports from Stanford, Amy Kurzweil, etc. Venture capital firms have a lot of info on emerging tech and new startups that would be worth paying for. any specific sites/links that you can share?
