> And recently many Americans have exiled during the 2017-25 crackdown on crypto.

Are there any estimates on how many valiant crypto freethinkers have left the USA for free market paradises?

The irony is almost painful: using the freedoms guaranteed by democratic systems to claim they're being oppressed by those very systems. If this is the best example of "persecution" they can come up with, perhaps it's time to acknowledge that crypto-libertarian talking points about government oppression are running pretty thin.

What words do we have left for people actually fleeing torture and death?

A country (Spain) with robust private property rights, free enterprise, and EU membership, is somehow dubbed a "Marxist dystopia" - just throwing ideological buzzwords at social democracy.

The fundamental dishonesty here is striking: the author is able to publicly criticize their government, freely move their assets, maintain international business interests, and come and go as they please. What an "exile"!
