Ask HN: Has the Slack iOS app been sluggish for you lately?
I’ve been noticing most aspects of the app have suffered from significant sluggishness. For example, tapping an input field to start typing a message is accompanied with a second or longer hang. Trying to start the channel search UI is the same. Pretty much every view transition is choppy for me on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. My impression is that there’s a bunch of slow network requests blocking the UI but I haven’t confirmed that yet. Yes!! Sometimes force quitting the app and restarting it helps, but clearing its cache doesn’t.
