I like this. There's also a related phenomenon where a business adds a "nobody-asked-for-this" feature just to ride a hype cycle. For example, adding generative AI features to a product (like a "generate me a cold outreach email" feature in a Sales tool) with the purpose of just driving extra engagement from existing customers or investor hype.
