Why is Port 25 Blocked in the Cloud?

It may be worth adding that most not all cloud providers will open port 25 account wide after opening a ticket and agreeing to not send UCE, SPAM, abusive emails, etc... Some providers will also grandfather in access to those that had port 25 open prior to locking it down. Some higher end providers may require that one subscribes to using their email relaying service.
