Ask HN: Recruiting Software That's Reasonable?
We're hiring around 5 people the next month or two, is anyone using an ATS (recruiting software) that's not 100s of dollars a month that's any good? I'd rather not track people in excels, but everything out there is terribly priced.
I used to like Greenhouse a lot in a previous company, but we can't afford that. As someone who is not familiar with an ATS, what makes it better than an Excel file? I would write my own thing in Django I guess but you may not have time for this and you seem to be a small team. Everything that makes a saas better than a shoot. Multiple roles. Comments. Track who said what. etc. :) Make a simple one in Airtable? Yea that might be the way
