Ask HN: Any stories of up-skilling manual QA teams into SDETs?
I have an upcoming project of helping up-skill manual and light-automation QA teams into more embedded SDETs.
I was wondering if anyone has any stories of doing similar work at their companies?
Currently they are involved in light E2E automation but the goal is moving more towards fully embedded SDETs helping with test infrastructure, other types of testing like API testing, ownership of the test related jobs in pipelines, etc...
Interested in any war stories :)
