Ask HN: How/Where to Advertise for a Roommate?
I'm turning to Hacker News to ask - where does one find a roommate?
Times is tough, and I'm looking for a roommate to rent a room out of the house I own. I'm just not sure where to look for / post an opening. Craigslist seems sketchy and I'm not sure where else applies.
Any ideas? ($1,000 month for a bedroom in a 3/2 in Austin, TX) Local college/univeristy
