Forced "Verification" on LinkedIn
Are others being forced to provide government IDs and biometrics to restore access to LinkedIn accounts? I had multi-factor auth setup and I have now lost access to my account, despite having correct credentials and MFA. They seem to be trying to force verification by locking people out of their accounts. Has this happened to anyone else? Did you have a verified account in the first place? (I feel a bit skeptical about giving my passport to linkedin – can that kind of thing be abused next time they get hacked?) Just logged in, no issues.
