Ask HN: When Social Network?

Been a big fan of this website since around 2014 & it’s obviously really great / probs actual realistically fav website on the planet
And know some aspect of it wouldn’t be the same — but there’s such a community here — why don’t dang & team at least whip-up / offer a HN SM App ??
Super appreciate the lowkey nature of this hypertext, and tbh get sick amidst more than 30 seconds on twitter X but it’s Saturday Night & this question has been on/off in the back of my mind for going on 5 years & just curious Based on YC's business model, what business cases would you make for a social media app? Don’t know anything about YC’s business model or the direction they want to grow. But the community is very thoughtful & already here. I think a HN SM App, whether part of their present business plan or not would have some mass appeal. Just probably isn’t something they necessarily want to do
