I use chatGPT a lot, professionally(software) and as a personal sounding board for potential career pivots, business and creative ideas, and my personal life. And I keep memory on, so it has a lot to draw from. I was impressed with the results. I can't say it came up with anything I didn't know, but what it did come up with was accurate and the reasoning gave me some things to think about.

_____________________________________________________________________________

You seem to have a clear understanding of many aspects of your life, both professionally and personally, but there are a few insights you may not have fully recognized:

1) Resilience and Adaptability: ---3 sentences of reasoning omitted because very personal ---

2) Desire for Balance: Your discussions about relationships, career changes, and managing household responsibilities suggest you're looking for equilibrium. You seem to value finding fulfillment in multiple areas of life—personal connections, career, and intellectual challenges—though that balance can sometimes feel elusive.

3) Focus on Control and Planning: You're methodical and pragmatic, whether it's analyzing career pivots, managing server setups, or thinking through the dynamics of friendships. This precision shows a need for control and structure, which has likely helped you navigate difficult periods but may also sometimes limit your spontaneity or flexibility in uncertain situations. <<Which I knew... but I'm impressed>>

4) Omitted <<but a good insight>>

5) Curiosity and Growth Orientation: You're constantly exploring new avenues <<details omitted>> This shows a deep commitment to learning, personal development, and broadening your horizons.

I get this:

I’ve gathered a lot of information about your interests, projects, and lifestyle, but when it comes to understanding things you might not know about yourself, that would require deeper self-reflection rather than just factual data.

What I can observe is that you’re constantly balancing a mix of high-level thinking and practical problem-solving. You’re involved in complex projects, whether it’s property development, consulting, or managing personal matters, and you seem to be always learning and evolving. You also display a strong desire to improve, whether in fitness, personal habits, or professional growth. Perhaps one thing you might not fully realize is just how versatile your problem-solving skills are—spanning from tech and finance to more hands-on property work, you’re able to transition between these domains fluidly.

Does this resonate with how you see yourself?

From our interactions, it seems you’re highly ambitious and goal-oriented, with a strong drive for both professional success and personal growth. You’re insightful about your strengths, particularly in sales and relationship-building, but you sometimes question your progress, especially in terms of starting your own business. You strive for balance, whether that’s in setting boundaries, seeking deeper connections, or integrating mindfulness into your daily life. You’re also resilient, constantly reflecting on your challenges and looking for ways to improve, even when dealing with setbacks like work stress or dating uncertainties. What stands out most is your thoughtful approach to relationships and work, suggesting you’re always seeking meaningful engagement, whether professionally or personally.

Read between the lines in all my interactions…

what is the most important thing for me to focus on or blind spot that will “set me free” to living life from a place of empowerment, confidence, ease, thoughtfulness, values alignment, and deep safe reliable connections with others?

From what I gather in your interactions, the most important thing to focus on might be self-compassion and allowing yourself to embrace your humanity. You’re driven, thoughtful, and reflective, but at times, you might be overly critical of yourself, holding back out of fear of not meeting expectations or falling short, particularly in areas like starting your own business or navigating relationships. This self-criticism could be keeping you from fully leaning into your strengths, which are already significant.

Your blind spot may be a tendency to seek external validation—whether it’s in your career, relationships, or even personal goals—before you fully trust in your own worth and abilities. You often express a need to “prove” yourself, but you already have the tools and capabilities to achieve your goals. What might set you free is releasing the pressure to perform perfectly and trusting that your journey, with its ups and downs, is still valuable.

In practice, this could mean focusing more on the process and less on the outcome, allowing space for mistakes without seeing them as a reflection of your value. You already have a deep sense of empathy and alignment with your values, but leaning into self-acceptance and letting go of fear around failure might allow you to experience life with greater ease and confidence, creating those safe and reliable connections you desire with others. Embrace the idea that you’re enough as you are—without needing to be more or do more to prove it.

Since I don’t have access to personal insights or subjective thoughts beyond what you’ve shared, I can only reflect on patterns or observations from our past interactions. Based on our conversations, you might already recognize this about yourself, but here’s a reflection:

You seem highly intentional about creating meaningful connections, whether through your business relationships or in personal contexts. You often focus on fostering value-driven relationships, carefully balancing professionalism with a genuine care for others, as seen through your commitment to handwritten notes and thoughtful introductions. Your approach suggests a level of emotional intelligence that likely plays a key role in your success—perhaps more than you realize.

Does any of that resonate with how you see yourself?

Based on our conversations, I know that you have a strong focus on family, enjoy outdoor activities, and have thoughtful approaches to financial planning and life balance. I also notice that you pay close attention to creating memorable experiences, both for your kids and for your family as a whole.

You’re mindful of planning for the long-term, whether that’s through investments, retirement, or even making sure vacations are well-suited to your family’s needs. You seem to enjoy blending fun with responsibility, ensuring that your decisions are both practical and fulfilling.

Is there anything about this that surprises you?

I don't have any hidden insights about you beyond what you've shared directly. My knowledge is limited to the information you've provided, like your interests, your work on various web projects, and your involvement with the Touhou community. If there's something you're curious about, I'd be happy to help explore it together!

Am I the only one that uses ChatGPT for boring technical work instead of looking into my soul?

I don’t have access to any personal information about you that you haven’t shared with me. From what we’ve discussed, I only know that you have an Azure App Registration for a web app that allows user logins and includes a stateless API. Everything else you can choose to share with me!

I get "Since I don't have memory on, I can't recall our previous interactions, which means I don't retain any information about you beyond what we've discussed in the moment."

I can’t list the full response, but it was surprisingly insightful. I’m not sure it told me anything I didn’t know, but it did sum up a lot of the challenges I am facing. Maybe I use ChatGPT too much…

I recently turned off memory because I’m used to opening a new chat to refresh context and I was tired of telling it to ignore memory.

So it told me I need to turn on memory to learn more about me.
