Ask HN: How does line by line AI editing work in Cursor, ChatGPT Canvas et al.?
I'm making an AI content updating app, but I'm finding that when asking LLMs to make changes to existing text, they often remove or change other parts.
How are apps like Cursor able to (most of the time) only edit specific parts of an existing body of text?
