Tauri 2.0 Stable Release
v2.tauri.appThis is really exciting news! 2 years ago I bet on Tauri to build Aptakube, instead of Electron, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
It was early days, very risky, but well worth it in the end.
Surprisingly, calling my app “not another Electron” app has been a great marketing strategy :-)
Migration from v1 to Tauri v2 was very smooth as it’s clear the team spent a lot of time on DX. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build desktop apps (can’t say anything about mobile tho, I have no experience).
This is very cool! but I still hope tauri can provide a feature that uses CEF. I'm working on a svg-heavy app, I noticed several svg rendering bugs with webview.
Why would one use Tauri instead of Electron in that case?
preference for rust for the backend.
I have high hopes for their mobile integration. Does anyone have an approved app to playstore/appstore?

Amazing, I wish they fix docs soon. I have like 5 tauri projects, can't wait to migrate them all. (more coming)
I'd like for Tauri to support native Widgets in iOS and Android.
