I'd like to move to the U.S. as a software engineer. Where could I find a db of jobs that sponsor in the USA? Companies that want to sponsor visas will advertise and recruit in your country. In the current US tech job market I don’t expect many companies will sponsor directly because they have to at least appear to have no domestic candidates first. Companies that do offshore go through intermediates that manage teams overseas, avoiding visa and relocation costs. You will need exceptional skills and experience in some niche, and then considerable luck matching your skills to an employer. I would start with freelancing remotely, which doesn’t require a visa or create tax issues. You might leverage that into a f/t job with sponsorship.
