Show HN: Local Bookmark Storage and Archive
github.comI decided I needed a reliable backup of my bookmarks, and an archive of those pages for future reference in case they get taken down. I paid for a managed online service that did this for a while, but I was unsatisfied with the archiving reliability. This is pretty much just a 200 line python script, but it does the trick, and now I don't have to worry about losing a copy of a web page that I want to refer to in the future.
