Internet Archive loses appeal over eBook lending

Worried that the IA's obsession over this undermines their crucial work with the Wayback Machine, which I personally think is by far their most important piece of work.

It would be a complete disaster for legal fees or other potential fines associated with the lawsuit to damage the Wayback Machine/web archive.
