Using Fidelity as a checking account to 10x your yield

Lotsa places (e.g. Wealthfront) offer a High Yield Savings Account (HYSA) that has checking attached.

I used to know why the US has this odd situation that checking accounts typically do not offer good interest. I guess regulatory capture: lobbying by the banks.
