I've been reflecting on the impact of maintaining a public online identity, whether through posting on social media, blogging, or other forms of providing public dialogue. For those of you who have consistently shared thoughts, work, or experiences online, how has it enriched and/or harmed your life - personally, professionally speaking? Harmed, both personally and professionally. I ended up feeling like I had to play the part I had chosen, and felt less free to go after new opportunities.
