Apple's iPhone 16 Will Keep Sales Stable Until Bigger Changes Arrive
bloomberg.comI love my old iPhone 11, I don’t use a protective case and it looks sleek and elegant - an old Billy Crystal line: “it is better to look good than to feel good.”
I am not buying a new iPhone until a new model supports very good local execution of LLM models. Maybe that will be an iPhone 16, but probably not.
The biggest selling point for the 15 was USB-C for me. The 16 is a skip and the 17 may be also, depending on what they can find to do.
I can’t really notice much of a difference between the 15 Pro and the 8 plus it replaced besides Face ID (which works better than I thought it would, to be honest).
I want to see storage sizes get bigger and more reasonably priced.
My wife needed a phone so I upgraded, plus they were offering $1000 trade in for both of our phones. The USB C is the compelling feature and I doubt I’ll upgrade for a long time. It’s nice to have one cable for most things.
