Ask HN: Which forum do you use to stay up-to-date with your interests?
As the UX of sites like reddit and twitter worsen each day, I'm wondering what's the alternative ? Hacker News is a nice change of pace but it lacks special interest and news specific to some domains. Where do you people hang out on the net and get your hobbies news ? reddit is not that bad of a place, i personally scroll it 15 mins everyday to get info on topic which are good enough to just know about them.
otherwise you can do google news that you get on the chromes homepage, as they sort based on your activity. Generally here and youtube, even though I know youtube is getting worse every day. I begrudgingly paid for premium, because I stopped using another service that was a little more expensive, so I felt like I could justify the cost to myself
