I'm particularly interested in non-technical or niche credentials, but anything folks are interested in is cool. Mail-order minister registrations are still popular, but not exactly skill-based

So far I've gotten my Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder certification. I've looked into getting CEFR certification in German or studying for the HSK (Mandarin), but haven't put my money where my mouth is yet. You can become a notary. The fees are small. It's a conversation starter and can be handy in a small business. None. I gain skills for fun, but not credentials. The only purpose credentials serve is to prove to strangers that you have certain skills, so they're just business.
