Gartner Predicts 30% of Gen AI Projects Will Be Abandoned After POC by 2025

30%? Only 30 percent? If I look around for how many projects have been started yet alone shown on HN. The problem with that, there's too much isle solutions solving a particular problem. Often, they're just having the same underlying idea.

I remember the first days of Java, when everyone did the x-th clock applet. While completely legitimate, it won't last for long. So. It's just "let's do fast now. So may be we can get some business out of it".

I'm sorry for everyone who invested much time, blood and tears into his baby. But think realistically. Is it the fast money or is it a project from the deeper heart? ... Both will be abandoned.

One needs business model that no one else can do / difficult to do.
