Satya Nadella Reads/Games Hacker News (2018)
kickscondor.comI'm reminded of the classic cartoon, "On the Internet, no one knows you're a dog."[a]
On HN, you don't know if you're talking to Satya Nadella.

If he's reading, we need to talk about MAUI.
I hope he gets some messages when he reads HN.
Wonder what his karma is?
How wonder how many shills he has here...

You could feel this pressure during the OpenAI debacle. Sentiment shifted 180 (or maybe more like 120) degrees from a typical earlier period where the orgs weren’t paying close attention.
The relevant is not if he reads HN...the important part of the transcript is this:
"...which is a community where we have been working hard to make sure that Azure is growing in popularity and I was pleasantly surprised to see that we have made a lot of progress in some sense... that at least basically said that we are neck to neck with Amazon when it comes to even lead developers as represented in that community."
Speaking of Microsoft, did you all cancel your Microsoft GitHub Copilot subscription yet?
If not, did you check out 14.q.iii. of the services agreement?
Cuz that means you can’t share your code or use it for AI if copilot was involved in its creation, making copilot output effectively toxic waste.
Here’s a link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement#14q_AIServ...
iii. Limits on use of data from the AI Services. You may not use the AI services, or data from the AI services, to create, train, or improve (directly or indirectly) any other AI service.
That has nothing to do with your code that you got help from copilot with. Are you referring to a different section? I didn’t see one that says anything like what you claim.
But I don't (actively) use my code for AI.
If someone finds my Copilot-assisted code on GitHub and uses it for AI, I think it's more his problem, not mine?
