Ask HN: How to write effective cold emails?
I'm a tech founder looking to improve my sales skills, specifically in reaching out to potential clients. This isn't about mass-spamming people, but rather about reaching out to relevant profiles and asking for genuine feedback.
What kind of email would you respond to? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated! Don't. Just...don't. I get cold emails, and send them straight to the spam folder. I just got a send follow-up (so, 3rd cold email) from a company. The only thing they have achieved is irritation. I will certainly avoid their products, if I come across them in the future. Bite me. I hate all the useless cold emails I get and I will hate yours too. I'm sure they also think they are relevant.
