Ask HN: GTM Strategy for Enterprise Software
We are currently building the MVP for our web app SaaS. Our main competitor is old legacy software from the 90s that most enterprises use right now.(10-15k$/month/license) We plan to follow the YC advice and ship quickly, iterate with a few first believers, and go on from there.
Someone told me I should pick one of the enterprises as a design partner and build the software for 1-2 years in stealth and then launch. Since there is a lot of regulation in the industry we are in I was thinking if this makes sense in that case as well.
I guess a lot of you have thought about this and have some strong opinions so would love to hear these from you.
