It seems Yotta is not at fault here, but Synapse, their banking provider?
Interesting. Yotta is a YC company, and I recall a recent comment here from another YC fintech founder that Synapse was a known no-go for YC fintechs.

This thread seems to go in to more detail around this but can I just say its incredibly scummy to get vulnerable people to trust you and then exploiting them because of desires of a few people to get rich by shoulder shrugging at clear breach of trust and responsibility.
As Coffeezilla correctly pointed out, the lack of a meaningful responses from Yotta's founder is not a good look. All the youtubers who promoted Yotta have taken down their videos realizing their legal liabilities. "Where there is smoke there is fire" relevant here.
I guess the corporate strategy here is to once again, censor, denial and carrying on with the new mission statement of helping people graduate into real gambling because thats what makes money and will elevate the CEO's net worth.
