Ask HN: Intermediate CSS Resources/Practice
What is a good CSS resource for a backend engineer? I have done all the basic tutorials like W3Schools, Mozilla Docs, watched tons of youtube videos, but nothing clicked yet. I have tried to replicate websites but I get stuck halfway. Stack overflow is unhelpful as they want an "easily reproducible" code everytime. In practice it is not easy.
I think I need some "intermediate" level tutorials and explanations. I have seen tons of youtube videos, but the problem is that for finer things, it is mostly "draw rest of the owl".
Short of taking a full time job in frontend and learning on the job, are they any step by step resources to learn CSS at an intermediate level? smashingmagazine is the best for what you are looking for. simply search for the topic you are looking for in there and you will find a good guide. just take a look at it.
