Show HN: I Built a India Neighborhood App
neighar.comI built Neighar: Indian Neighborhood Social Network app that connects residents of the same neighborhood, allowing them to share local news, recommendations, and events. If you call it a rip off of Nextdoor, we wouldn't complain.
India relies heavily on Whatsapp and Facebook for their communication needs, but it has its own limitations. Whatsapp is limited to closed in-circle communications, and Facebook is too wide open. We are positioning Neighar right in the middle so that the diverse communities and culutures in India can take advantage of our tool. We support almost all the Indian Languages too.
