When will free LLMs become ad-monetized?
These days, most free services aimed at the general public end up being funded by advertising.
I've seen ads for crypto sites with some local code completion models, but it's still marginal.
Do you see any elements that point in this direction, or do you think things will evolve that way? How will you know? Perhaps the AI will just slip in product mentions in subtle and inobvious ways. You know, like really good product placement in movies. You wonder if they did it on purpose if you notice the products at all.
