Internet Archive in Court: There's More to Copyright Than Financial Incentives

I don't fancy IA's chances.

IMHO if the publishers suing them were to vanish overnight, it would be no great loss. But the Internet Archive has incalculable value to humanity--something the publishers don't care about in the least.

I do give them money and keep hoping for the best. It's an unfortunate single point of failure that I wish we could duplicate.
