Through this community, I found the value of ClearShotX. What are some other apps this community can suggest ?

Probably missing AskHN in the title.

Reposting what I wrote a few months ago.

IINA - Media Player

QuickLook Video - Adds non-quicktime supported Video to Finder Preview.

Transmission - Bit torrent

Unarchiver or Keka - RAR or Zip files.

Little Snitch Mini - Network Monitoring

Apple Numbers, Pages - Alternative to M$ Office if you dont need all the features.

Text Editor - VS Code or Sublime, ( May be Zed in the future )

Soulver

And that is it. Other than the Apps above and Default Apps by Apple like Stocks and Notes, 99% of my time are inside Browser.

I really like: Pathfinder. Brackets. Better Touch Tool. ItsyCal. Name Mangler. SyncFolders. NTFS for Mac.

Probably missing the missing link.

When I read this type of question I put on my empathy head and dip my toe in the stream of life to at the very least attempt to understand what goes on in someones mind that motivates them to type up this type of question.

Is it boredom? I for sure would love to be so bored I have to type up a banal question about an apple product to relieve my discomfort.

Maybe it is more about being heard and acknowledged in this ever dislocated world.

Surely, for me anyway, being an older type of retired, senile, ever sceptical delinquent.

I would search all the apple forums. I'm not an apple fanboy and I do not know if they even have an appstore, I'm personally not interested, But if they did, wouldnt it be worth while having a little look in there.

I am also sure that in this community most of the apple apps get used by someone some of the time if not all of the time.

I can truly live without all the apple apps for 2024 and the rest of my life.

DOH!
