Ask HN: What product do you see there's possibility to create?

3 points by user0x1d 2 years ago · 5 comments · 1 min read

Either because you work at a certain industry and you see something is missing or people complain about certain tasks/products that exist and are a burden

I’m part of a “pre-idea” venture scalable startup accelerator and I’m very keen to explore spaces people think there’s possibility for something to be built. Yes, I’m basically asking for free ideas

There's problems to solved all over the place. I'd put the question back on you - what types of problems are you interested in? Are there particular industries that you are interested in or passionate about? Does your previous work experience line up with those industries (it doesn't have to but it helps)?

I believe that the BitGrid, a computing fabric consisting of a homogeneous grid of cells with 4 bits of input (one from each neighbor) and 4 output bits (one to each neighbor) and a look up table (LUT) can outperform anything NVidia is cooking up, in AI related tasks, for less power, less silicon, and can handle defects much better.

If you're going to spend Billions in chips to go into a data center just to do matrix multiplies... maybe spend a little bit to see if this might work better?

I work in the German immigration industry. Toytown Germany, the biggest forum for immigrants, just vanished from the internet. It needs a replacement. It would mesh really well with my current business (https://allaboutberlin.com), but I don't really want to hire mods to run it.

Send me an email (in bio)!

I have so many ideas of stuff I think really needs to be buil and has huge upside potential but no one is doing anything about.

I would like to affiliate with your accelerator in any way possible.

I just posted in response to the new DECT NR+ radio technology. I would look into that as a disrupter in a lot of commercial and defense/intel applications.
