For one, it’s none of my employer’s [expletive] business how I conduct myself in private, so long as I’m not harming their reputation or committing crimes.

And of course many of these “choices” outline are options only available to those who can afford them.

But most egregious to me is this sort of thinking shifts the responsibility of destroying the planet from the organized entities who do the most damage to individuals who, if we were all combined, don’t even tip the scales in terms of climate impact.
