Oregon Just Struck a Blow to Parts Pairing and Won a Decade of Repair Support

I appreciate the desire here but there's something that seems arbitrary. Why go back 10 years? Going forward if Company A makes a product how long do they need to support it for? What does that entail? How does that affect what products the company makes?
