note to any humble fellow stranger out there -- lying to yourself is one of the worst diseases / curses that can fall upon you.

because unfortunately, by lying to yourself you no longer know the real you. simply you don't exist - the idea of you being unique, with unique ideas doesn't exist.

the life you've lived has been a lie.

SBF is becoming the Chlorine trifluoride of the crypto world. Every time you think there couldn't possibly be anything left to catch fire, you get stuff like this...

This perfectly matches my expectation of the Effective Altruism movement: a sociopath carefully mapping out 15 alternative approaches to take, only one of which being "tell the truth", the other being various lies that contradict each other. All for the greater good, of course.

It's actually good in the long run if I get off scott free and steal all this money, because I will eventually donate it really effectively, so it's going to be a net positive for humanity.

This is not Michael Milken. Milken cooperated with prosecutors. SBF did not.
