Extra bit of context:

- The user bought a license key from an authorized reseller listed on Downie's website. He filled 1@1.com when registering the software, for he found that the verification is done using an activation code, and it has nothing to do with what email is entered.

- He recalled that he might have wanted to download an English podcast on Apple podcast. He found that the shared link could not be resolved. He thought it would be more convenient if the software had this feature, so he politely explained the situation in the feedback within the software. The email left was either a privacy-forwarded iCloud email or an alias for his Outlook email, both of which were in a normal, functional state for receiving emails.

- The author feels that he has used pirated software and at the same time his software has been deactivated. When he opens it, only this popup appears. Clicking "OK" will take him to the purchase page, but there is no option for activation.
