opinionated.af.yachtsA piece I wrote about my frustrations with having my vanity domain taken away from me by a change in government and why we shouldn't use ccTLDs for prime internet real estate.
ccTLDs are really for the country, vanity use is, well, vanity, which sometimes gets crushed. Caveat emptor. The more less stable the country the greater the chance of problems.
I wonder what happens to .tv if Tuvalu goes under the waves.
That's the entirety of my point. ccTLDs being the only way to get "nice" domain names that don't end in .com is a global snafu.
