It takes full content and user comment from Hackernews but doesn't mention Hackernews once?

And clicking on the rules:

"Rule 5 - You don’t have to use your real name to use Birbla, but don’t impersonate an individual or an entity in a misleading or deceptive manner."

You can't make rules. The content and moderation is from Hackernews.

Frankly, I find that 'social media' design awful. The design encourages doom scrolling, discourages comments, and the information density is so low to make the site frustrating to use.

I think the current HN 'design' is a large part of the appeal to this site and the specific target audience.

It takes 17 times longer to load, how in the world is it good?
