I find this hilarious because I don't think the idea of ego depletion being connected to willpower has ever caught on. Why does this article back in 2016 Make it seem like that's what everyone thought willpower was for 30 years? As far as I could tell up to today most people consider willpower as a projection of their moral attitude... Which is more wrong than ego depletion...

Yet another unreproducible result from psychology...

When somebody is down, feeling as bad or worse than they ever have in their lives, what do we do? We say they should go get help....from psychologists...

Bad science has real ramifications.
