ft.comOnly to be expected. Without cheap gas via the NordStream pipeline, and having to buy more expensive shipped gas. The German manufacturers are no longer competitive. That turns Germany from being an export-driven income-producing country to yet another deficit-expenditure country.
No exporting or manufacturing means lots of workers being laid off. And no money going into the local economy. That's called Recession. Or even Depression.
