Congrats! I've been following Maybe since the beginning. I think you originally prototyped it in Rails by yourself? On that, I was actually kind of surprised to see a TypeScript app -- I always thought it was Rails. Anyways -- super cool to see more closed source companies going open source. I really hope you're able to create a community and eventually monetize it via the cloud offering. I think your plan is solid.

Seeing something like this be open source is so exciting for me. Living in the Dominican Republic, the main products offered are never available and it's hard for them to justify investing in building out support for the country since it's not a huge market to their eyes. Open source solutions like these opens the door for motivated engineers to contribute and make it happen.

Props and hope the bet pays off!

Pumped to be able to explore this repo and watch it grow. There aren't a ton of large-scale Next/React OSS projects out there, and this one's absolutely premo. Also really great to see an OSS project in the personal finance space, especially considering the lack of other really good software out there for this usecase.

Saw it on Twitter about 15 minutes ago.

I worked on a personal finance management tool for about 8 years, never knowing what to make out of it, so it never saw light.

I believe that the PF market is lacking a very well-made tool. Everybody uses something, but nobody is 100% happy with their tool.

From the pictures I saw on Twitter, it looks incredible.

Best of luck Josh, hope this time it will go better.

Tons of great little UI details and interactions as part of this release. Really, really good stuff.

Thanks for releasing this product, Josh. It looks incredible. Just what I need as I start exploring the building in public space, curious to see how a $1,000,000 product looks inside.
