Tell HN: Reddit is blocking access from AWS IP addresses
Trying to access reddit.com from an AWS device results in a 403 response, with a page displaying the following message:
whoa there, pardner! Your request has been blocked due to a network policy. Try logging in or creating an account https://www.reddit.com/login/ to get back to browsing. If you're running a script or application, please register or sign in with your developer credentials https://www.reddit.com/wiki/api/. This occurs when using a browser with the default UA via remote desktop to an EC2, not just using cli tools like curl Same here. I usually access reddit from rtv (Python package) from an EC2 linux instance, and today I wasn't able to. Any tip on how to bypass or fix this with rtv? Same from here.
