I got Invisalign braces as an adult, they worked pretty well. They do require small ceramic "button" to be glued to your teeth to allow tooth rotation, while SmileDirectClub didn't have any such system and could not move your teeth as efficiently as a result.

I also had to have the gaps between my teeth sanded to make extra room. It was a lot more complicated than just getting new trays every once in a while.
