Ask HN: Has anyone hacked the Hydrow rowing machine?
I purchased a Hydrow rowing machine for $2500 during the pandemic. It comes with a built in monitor that streams rowing sessions but it requires a subscription. Using it without the subscription is so limited it’s pointless. It seems just restrictive enough that it would have piqued the interest of someone with way more reverse engineering ability than myself.
