Ask HN: Should I stop promoting my SaaS in Asian countries like India?
I tried running Google ads, and when I did, the CPC of these Asian countries was much lower than the USA, England, etc. I got a lot of free users for my SaaS (SubtitleO) but the conversion rate of those free to paid users is very low. Not even 1%. I know my pricing (which I am going to update soon) is bit good enough for people to push for the paid version, but I believe the conversion rate is damn low. Most of these people might be time wasters only (that's how I am feeling now) SO!
Should I stop promoting it to them and focus on highly targetted ways like AI directories and other sources
OR
Should I keep doing it and experiment with pricing and adding more features in the paid version?
