Wherever you go, there you are

That book took me from Tucson to Yucatan to Baja California and to many places in-between. And, not just once. It was the foundation for a lifetime of adventure. That book saved my soul from the stultifying mediocracy of life in America. It was accessible adventure for my generation. It was wonderful. It's one of those few books that I have bought many times and given away to people I've met and who learned to love it as I did.
