Ask HN: Was this the worst "who's hiring" edition of the year?
It usually takes two weeks to reach the total of posts for the month. Since this month’s was on Friday, I would wait at least a few more days to do even an initial comparison.
Also it's December, from my observations hiring seems to always be slowing down before Christmas / New Year
If you mean from a job market perspective, I like to look at the ratio of who's hiring to who wants to be hired. So far there's always been more who's hiring posts, but the ratio is quite close this month.
