Ask HN: Is the smartwatch the future of AI-native devices?
Humane is betting on the AI Pin, Rewind and Tab are betting on necklaces, etc.
In my opinion, a smartwatch would be awesome as the form factor for an "AI Partner." Glasses would also be cool, but I think it's hard to make humans want to have something on their faces for extended periods of time.
I believe that in the future, everyone will have their own personal AI, similar to how everyone has their own personal computer. The question is, what form factor makes the most sense for an "AI Partner"?
What do you think? I'm curious to hear your opinions. Talk with it w/ earbuds or something? yup, that would make the most sense. in my head it would make sense to need earbuds if you plan to talk with it in noisy environments, or instead use an app on your phone to chat with it through a text-based interface. and then in private environments, you can talk with it out loud.
